In the annual thesis competition organized by the Swedish Competition Authority, students from the Department of Economics at ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ were recognized for their work. The first prize in the economics category was awarded to Agnes Erlandsson and Erik Leiditz Thorsson for their thesis on declining firm markups in Sweden. Meanwhile, Marcus Hagman, also from the Department of Economics at ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ, received the second prize for his thesis on collusion and price transmission in the German retail gasoline market.

Winning Project: The third-year Retail Management students in H&M Retail Club with the report "Enhancing H&M's Demand Sensing Process".

During the "Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) Global Forum, it was announced that ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ’s Sharing Information on Progress (SIP) Report was the winner of the 2024 Recognition of Excellence in Reporting award, within the ‘Established reports’ category. 

The House of Innovation proudly celebrates the achievement of Professor Michael Barrett, our esteemed Distinguished Visiting Professor, who has been named an AIS Fellow by the Association of Information Systems. This prestigious award is a recognition of Professor Barrett's substantial contributions to the field of information systems.

Winning Project: The third-year students in Fazer Retail Club with the report "Experience Fazer Through a Nordic Culinary Journey".

In the annual thesis competition organized by the Swedish Competition Authority, students from the Department of Economics at ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ have achieved notable success. The first prize in the economics category was awarded to William StÃ¥lhök and Knut Örnéus for their thesis on wind power production and strategic withholding. Additionally, Herman Rogefors and William Karlsson, also from Department of Economics, secured the second prize for their thesis exploring wind power investment incentives in Sweden.

The Assar Lindbeck Medal 2023 is awarded to professors Johanna Rickne, affiliated professor at the ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ and professor at Stockholm University, and Olle Folke, professor at Uppsala University. The prize honors Assar Lindbeck's diverse and groundbreaking contributions to economic research and is given every two years to researchers in Sweden under 45 who have significantly contributed to economic thinking and knowledge.

Congratulations to Pamela Campa (SITE) and her co-authors for receiving one of the Christiaan Huygens Reproduction and Replication Prizes for their research reproduction work, which delves into the intriguing realms of gender differences in cooperation within the U.S. Congress.

Congratulations Ramin Baghai to the Teacher of the Year award, voted by the ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ MBA 2021 Autumn class, that graduated in September!

Professor Mattias Nordqvist was honored with the prestigious Best Family Business Paper Award at this year's Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting in Boston. Nordqvist’s research provides a guiding light to support processes of professionalization in family enterprises and family offices.
