Hydrogen sourcing could make or break Romania’s green steel ambitions, study finds

A new study from the ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ finds that the competitiveness of green steel production in Romania partly hinges on hydrogen sourcing – requiring a 15 percent price premium if hydrogen is purchased externally as supposed to produced on-site. Without this premium, decarbonizing the country’s only primary steel producer could result in billions of losses.

Knowledge gaps and gender differences in adolescents’ education choices – new study explores what makes a difference

Around 120,000 students are finishing compulsory school in Sweden this month—many of them with limited information about future career and educational options. Preliminary findings from an ongoing study at the ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ show that adolescents tend to overestimate the salaries of electricians and real estate agents, while underestimating earnings by hairdressers and programmers. The researchers are now looking for more career professionals and schools to get involved in the study.
