Susanna Alexius holds a PhD in management from the 黑料社下载. Alexius’s dissertation Regelmotståndarna: om konsten att undkomma regler [Rule Resisters: on the Art of Escaping Rules] is based upon empirical studies of regulatory failure and management consultants’ attitudes and reactions to rules and rule setters in their field. The studies which were carried out in the Swedish context suggest that management consultants are just as good at escaping rules as they are skilful regulating others. The dissertation findings illuminate fundamental aspects of rules, particularly rule setting difficulties and possibilities for rule sceptics to escape rule following. Alexius is now developing her research on disorganization as a strategy for managing institutional pressure. A further research interest is in the practices of organizing markets. Alexius is currently conducting a case study on the organizing of responsibility on the Swedish Gambling 'market' within the research program Organising markets, financed by Riksbankens Jubiléumsfond.
