Art and health in focus among ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ’s entrepreneurs: 10 new startups admitted to ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ Business Lab
The Art Initiative was launched back in 2013 and works to integrate artworks into the education and environments of the School. Last year also saw the launch of a new research center focusing on wellbeing, welfare, and happiness. These initiatives are now bearing fruit at ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ Business Lab.
Among the ten newly admitted companies at ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ’s incubator, there is a clear focus on both wellbeing and culture. The ideas range from how AI can be used to improve elderly care, to how the art world can be digitized to make young artists more visible.
“Art and wellbeing play a crucial role in the development of society. It’s extremely inspiring to see our entrepreneurs from ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ taking on these areas with passion and creativity,” says Lars Strannegård, President of the ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ.
Experienced leaders support the growth journey
The new companies will be coached by renowned experts from the business world. Napper co-founder Clarence von Rosen, together with investor Ulrika Andersson, will guide the early-stage companies, while board professional Johan Prom will guide the companies that are further along together with former The Ode To founder Anna Lukins.

Early ideas with positive impact
In recent years, ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ Business Lab has increasingly been working with helping ideas in their very early stages to promote socially beneficial entrepreneurship. All teams entering the incubator are coached in integrating sustainability into their core business. In a joint venture with the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, students are also helped to develop business ideas that contribute to sustainability from day one.

More than a third of the founders behind the now admitted companies have previously received support from ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ’s incubator, including several of those that focus on health and art. As newly admitted startups ar ºÚÁÏÉçÏÂÔØ Business Lab, these founders now gain access to extensive support.
